I was just checking out all of the blogs that people have posted, and felt like i am a slacker. So I decided i would write a little something.

So far so good into this new year, I posted this beautiful picture that Sean took this summer just above Baggs up in the Mountains, for the reason of i am so ready for summer. The cold is getting really old.

Kids are growing fast, Kyra is 8 and Wade 4. How the time flies when you are having fun. Kyra keeps us hopping riding her horses and going to rodeos, which will start soon.

I have been real bust between kids, Sean, Horses, Dogs and now the Primary. I was called as the 1st Councilor in the Primary. Sean is busy working which is a great thing now days. Well i will try to be better and keep things up to date.

IT'S BEEN A WHILE

Well lets see were to begin, it has been forever and a lot has happened. Kyra rodeod this summer and for her first year she did really well. She ended up in the top 10 in the state in barrels, poles, and the all around, she was 11 in the goats. It is amazing to watch the improvment just from this winter!
School has begun Kyra is in the 2nd grade and already coming home every night with 3 pages of home work. Wade starts preschool next Tuesday and he cant wait!
We are all doing great.

All Dressed up!
Tonight was the Snake River Prom, and every year they pick 4 kids to be the escorts at the Prom. Well Kyra was chosen so we got her all dressed up and her hair done, and she looked beautiful. She did a wonderful job walking out with every high school boy to greet them with their dates. Also when she sat at the end waiting to crown the royalty she even sat like a little lady, not with her legs out like i was afraid she would do. (she is not soooo girly!!)

The Best Time Ever

Today was Kyra and Wade's last gymkhana. I am so very proud of what they have accomplished. Kyra has improved tons from the beginning to now. It was neat to watch all of the kids each time and see the change, and there self confidence rise.

Kyra won first place in all of the events for the year end. Wade got third place in the year end points. So Kyra got to pick which prize she wanted first and she choose the breast collar, then she needs to thank her little brother because he was third to pick and choose for her the matching headstall.

They did amazing and as a family we had a great time!

A Fun Day In The Snow

We decided to spend the day up in the mountain, at what they call the play hill having fun in all of the snow. The kids loved every minuted of it. We took another family along for the day, of course Kyra can't go without her best friend Jillian. Under the helmet in the one picture is Wade, the helmet is bigger than he is. It was a beautiful day to play in the snow!

Well i thought i should write a short note to let people know that we as a family are still alive. It has been so long i am sure that you were wondering!

Tomarrow is Kyra's Valentines Party for First grade. We have put together her Valentine Cards, and Goodie Bags for her classmates. Then tomarrow i will be slaving away in the Kitchen Baking, A heart shaped cake and cupcakes for the class. I am the mother in charge of the party, so hopefully all goes well!

Last night was Kyra's school Christmas Program it was very cute. Her class the first grade was supposed to wear there pj's and slippers that is why she is hers.

Then after the program Santa comes and all the kids get to sit on his lap and tell him what they want.

Kyra wants a new Puppy and 2 new horses!

The Crazy Christmas Season

Well i am relieved to say i am done with all of my Christmas Shopping. I am Finished, and It feels great. Dont get me wrong i love Christmas but i am always glad to be done with the worrying of what to buy everbody. Merry Christmas to All!

Fun at the Arena

Yesterday we spent the day up at the indoor arena in Dixon at the first Gymkhana of the year. They have one once a month for 6 months and then win year end prizes. Kyra did really well yesterday in the peewee division. She ended up 1st in the barrels, 1st in the pole bending, 2nd in the flag race, and then they have an optional made up event and Kyra got 1st in that one too. So all in all she had a great day. We made a great decision when we bought her Shanny her horse!

Thankful

Today i am so very thankful for all the nice resources of our time. The great technology and things are wonderful.

On the 19th Shelley (Seans mom) had surgery, to rid her body of the cancerous tumor that had grown back in her kidney area. She had the kidney romoved 5 years ago because it was cancerous. While in surgery for 5 hours the doctor had found that the tumor had started to grow into the muscle that is on her back, and he had to remove alot of that and while doing so had to cut one major nerve. While explaining all of this he is saying that he thinks the nerve that was cut was the one that controls the lifting of your leg. So we were afraid that a lot of physical therapy and things would be a must. But to all of out blessing yesterday Shelley can lift her leg. So whatever nerve the doctor cut was not the important one and Shelley can't tell any difference to her body.

Shelley is doing great and will probably be in the Huntsman Center for 5 or so more day, but we are greatful that she should be able to make a swift and speedy recovery.

Happy Halloween

Well Halloween has came and gone, and we had a blast! I love Halloween except for the sugar highs and then comes the bad teeth, but hay who care's it is all about the fun. We decorated the Halloween Castles, carved pumkins and then got dressed up and went tricker treating. The kids got way more candy than was needed. It should last till next Halloween. This year the kids were great Wade was a Moose and Kyra was and Indian Princess. SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!

Kyra and her very best friend Jillian, and her family took a trip and they headed for South Dakota. They took Kyra and Dalton ( he is in the red) Danny's little boy on an adventure. They got to see Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Bear Country, and also to Devils Tower they had a great time.

Kyra is a very special little girl and i rember being small and my first best friend, and i am glad that she has found Jillian she is the neatest girl with a great attitude!

A day in the Desert

Sean's uncle Barry took us out to the desert around Powder Wash to see this grave. It was a really neat thing. There was two grave a smaller one and this one the larger one. This one had a marker R. Davidson died July 10 1852. That has to be one of the older grave i have seen. Then if you new were it was you would agree. It is out in the midle of no where. Barry said that is us to be the stage coatch trail that ran from Craig Co. to Rock Springs WY. The fence is a new adition he said that it was not there the last time Barry was out there.

Fun in the Sun

The last day up at the lake before it gets to cold! We went up to spend the day at the High Savery, to let you know that they built the lake 2years ago. It sits from Baggs about 30miles up in the mountains, so needless to say it is water that runs right off of the snow bank. But we have fun!

I have to say Kyra is much braver than i ever was she was having a blast riding on the tube with her dad. Enjoying it the whole time laughing it up.

I remember when i was a kid and yelling at uncle Dick slow down, slow down. I don't think i had fun doing it until i was a teenager.

Being a mom

I am really excited i am now a stay at home mom. I quit working at the post office full time, i only work part time. But the part time is still when i want to, if i dont i dont have to. I am so excited. I will be spending more time with my children and that makes me very happy!!!!

Camping

Well this weekend we went up into the medicine bow national forest, for a weekend of fun and camping! We had a really great time. The picture of Sean by him self in the jeep climbing a little hill it got a lot bigger and i walked there was no way i was riding in it, but they all made it safely. The kids had a blast and were really dirty to prove it. The first night we slept under the stars because we got up there so late we didnt set up any tents. Then the next morning we got up and traveled farther into the forest and set up camp. We had a blast!!!!

Kyra won her very first belt buckle yesterday, at her very first rodeo. She ran the barrles and placed third and they gave a buckle to the top three. She was so proud. It was a very nice buckle exspecialy for her first one. She did very well and we couldnt be any prouder, she did it just like a pro.

Well i would have to say we have had a great weekend as a family. We traveled down the Utah to see mom and gram for the weekend. We stayed very busy, between looking for a new semi and spending time with the family.

We found the new semi, and spent the rest of the weekend haning aroung Gammy's house. The kids played with sparklers and the poppers, they had a great time. We thought we would sit on the front porch and moms and thought we would see all the fireworks we would want to see, because we have watched them many times. But this 4th we did not get to see many. The kids were not sad, they didnt know any better but the big people were really disapointed.

Will and Wendy and their whole famliy came today, to get together and have dinner. We had a great time, and Daniel is such a HAM he is so darn cute! Also thanks to Jesica she has started me on the Blog! Everything ended Great!!!!
